Spring is coming I'm sure, on summer afternoons in the studio I have to pull the blinds down on some of the windows because the sun shines too brightly onto the big desk, recently I've been balancing a few paper and lazercut thingies on the window frames and was surprised at how nice they looked as shadows when for the first time in 2010 the blinds came down in the daytime !

loving it!! Great idea.
beautiful image, your paper cuts look lovely as shadows - reminds us of indonesian shadow puppet shows.
That's very beautiful. You paper cuts and the sun show us lovely shadows. I love them!
this is so lovely, your cuts would make excellent blinds!
I just love your work!!!
A beautiful image! I love the stacked lazercuts image too. They lend themselves so well to experimenting with photography, it would be really exciting to see more! Hope you don't mind that I shared them on my blog;

If there's anything you'd like removing or changing just let me know.
Vicki.
your artwork creates beautiful shadows.
just lovely! I would be nice to do some window film with a etch glass effect.
I discovered a similar thing when i pinned a lace doily onto my window frame, since then a sewed some onto a piece of voile to hang at the window.
It's gorgeous! I love your work!
You might want to consider these laser cut "curtains" ala Toord Boontje.
Those shadows are gorgeous! Must have been very bright sunshine.
They look great
...feels like my grand/ma curtains..
