A Rough for a book jacket for Bloomsbury Childrens (Not Used)

I was invited to take part in a project to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the font Helvetica (even typefaces get birthday parties these days !). 50 designers were allocated a specific year from the last 50 and asked to pick an inspirational event and illustrate it somehow. I think I drew the short straw when I was given 2006, in my research all i could find was death, war and disaster. Then I discovered Warren E Buffet, the 3rd richest man in the US who made a massive donation to a charity that is trying to find a cure for aids. I know it's easy to say well he's got all the money he'll ever need and it wont make any difference to his life - but I don't care, I think it is impressive and inspiring.

Spring is nearly here. Off to New York tomorrow !!!!

Just out now Issue 3 of Varoom Magazine, there's a pull out thing I did for them. It's a good magazine and there's a good interview with one of my fave illustrators Sara Fanelli !

This is a poster that come with the latest issue of Lula fashion magazine. It's a little tap dance you can do that was made by Zooey Deschanel.

I made a St Patrick's day card 2 years ago for family and friends and thought Yes - I'll do this every year, so I obviously didn't get it together to make one last year ! But I'm back on track again, It's screenprinted in waterbased inks and the raspberry color inside is cool when you open it.

This is an enamel sign that has been made up in a ltd edition by Katie and Jane at Shelf (Cheshire St, London E2). It's hard to show here how lovely it is. I'm not sure what enamelling is all about but it's like old tube station signs and it feels nice and smooth.
